At Windley School we work hard at transitioning students to our school. We use ‘Te Whariki’ which also aligns with our vision ‘E tipu nga rakau iti,’ as our guiding document to help us transition students from Kohanga Reo, Day Care, Kinderkarten and Preschool. Many of our students come with strong connections of whanau and community. Most of our five year olds are from our community and have whanaunga or family who are at Windley School, or have attended Windley School.
