Principal’s Message

Talofa lava, Malo e lelei, Kia orana, Talofa ni, Fakalofa lahi atu, Bula vinaka, Namesta, Salam Aleikum, Haere mai, nau mai, haere mai ki te Kura o Winiri. Welcome to Windley School.

Our board of trustees, staff, students and families strive to create a safe stimulating environment where students want to be. Windley School employ knowledgeable, responsive, caring and committed teachers. The staff work hard on their teaching and learning approach to engage students and set the foundation for them to be successful. There is a friendly, supportive school culture and the school community actively support our students through home learning.

I am inspired by the challenges facing our students as they prepare themselves and find their way in the changing world of today. We are preparing our students, your children, for work that may not exist at the moment, jobs that we have not yet thought of. This will be our students’ future. How do we prepare students for this changing world?

Our staff, parents and supporters start by teaching students skills they will need for life, skills that they will use to gain knowledge and understanding so they become positive participants and contributors within their whanau and wider communities. This is the measure of success for our students.
